Odoo for a small business in the EU: modules, localization, and the path off 1C
Odoo covers accounting, inventory, sales, and manufacturing in one system, scoped and priced before you sign anything, with a clear route off 1C when you need one.
Odoo, Implemented Without Guesswork
Odoo covers accounting, inventory, sales, and manufacturing in one system, at a cost that fits a small or growing business. We scope the project before you sign anything, work from fixed packages instead of open-ended hourly estimates, and hand over a system your team can run day to day without depending on us for every change. As an Odoo Partner with direct access to Odoo Enterprise and certified on its methodology, we deliver on the platform's own implementation standards, not a process invented on the fly.
Many of the small companies we work with in the EU were founded by entrepreneurs from Ukraine and the CIS. We support them in Ukrainian and Russian, and we know the move off 1C first-hand.
Everything Works Together
Odoo modules share one database, so a confirmed sale updates inventory, accounting, and analytics without a single export file. Where your company already relies on external tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, e-commerce platforms, payment providers), we connect them, so Odoo becomes the center of your workflow rather than one more disconnected system.
Core Modules
We implement the Odoo modules a small business runs day to day:
- Sales & CRM: quotes, pipelines, customer records.
- Invoicing: customer quotes, invoices, and payment tracking.
- Inventory: stock tracking, warehouse operations, barcode support.
- Manufacturing (MRP): bills of materials, work orders, production planning.
- eCommerce: online storefront connected to inventory and sales.
Modules are added incrementally: start with what runs your core operations, add the rest as the business grows.
Full local accounting (chart of accounts, VAT, statutory reporting) and payroll depend heavily on your country's rules. We scope those to your jurisdiction and, where the depth calls for it, bring in a local accounting or payroll specialist rather than cutting corners.
Localization by Country
Odoo needs local accounting and tax rules configured correctly to be usable on day one. We currently localize for Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Germany, including chart-of-accounts setup, VAT rules, and statutory reporting formats. Romania and Poland are on our near-term roadmap, and where your country is not yet on the list, we scope localization as part of the project.
Migrating from 1C to Odoo
If you are running 1C and outgrowing it, or need a European-jurisdiction system, we migrate the data and processes you rely on: chart of accounts, customer and vendor records, open transactions, and historical data needed for reporting. The migration runs as a managed project (process mapping, data mapping, testing, and parallel run before cutover), not a one-time export. This is the same path smaller businesses take out of 1C; larger and multi-entity companies typically migrate to e:corg instead.
